The Desert Belle Paddleboat is available for private cruises. Rates are based on 90 minute cruises and vary with the number of passengers.

2. Complete both the contract and the second page of the info packet indicating your specific requests for the private charter.

THE DETAILS

Private Charters start at $400 Mon - Sun for first 20 people
And then $20 per person (includes tax) and $10 for children 5-12.
Children 4 and under are free.

The base charter lasts 1 ½ hours at $20/person (includes tax), with a minimum charge of $400 (up to 20 people) for a charter. However, charters may be extended in half hour increments at a rate of $4/person with a minimum of $80 per additional 30-minutes.

In most cases, you are able to board the Desert Belle 30 minutes before scheduled departure for any preparations, decorating, etc. If earlier boarding is necessary, $35/half hour will be charged.  (Please indicate on the this Charter Contract.)

Charters will begin at scheduled time whether or not the boat has left the docking area.  Delayed departure will not extend scheduled re-dock time.

Charters may be catered or you may bring your own food and beverage (including alcoholic beverages) aboard.  The Lakeshore Restaurant is most often used for their catering.  Please direct catering questions to John Senior at 480-984-5311.

You may bring your own alcohol and you may pour any alcohol from glass into plastic containers prior to boarding the boat.

A cooler (please provide your own ice), 2 six-foot buffet style tables, and 9 card tables are available upon request.   Please see the attached deck configurations for a specific table and chair configuration.  If not, the Desert Belle will have 74 chairs setup facing forward. There is a $35 setup/cleanup/take down fee.  (Please indicate the deck configuration of your choice on the attached sheet)

The stereo system is MP-3 compatible or you may bring your own CDs for music.  You must bring the specific connecting wire from your MP-3 player to the universal port on the stereo.  The stereo system is above the Captain and sound can be heard on speakers throughout the boat (fore deck, aft deck and center cabin included).  (Please indicate if you will be bringing your own music via CD or MP-3 player on the attached sheet)

Please indicate on the attached sheet if your charter would require the narrated tour, at no additional charge.

A microphone will be available for your use with announcements, speeches, etc.

Children under 13 years of age must wear a life jacket.

There is a restroom aboard the Desert Belle and the Desert Belle is handicap accessible.

You are responsible for general cleaning and pickup of trash within 30 minutes of re-docking from charter.

Please indicate any requests on the attached and send to our PO Box at least 14 days prior to your charter.

We recommend that you keep these guidelines and bring them with you for review on the day of your charter.
